The Client
Apetito is a global organisation with 50 years experience in providing supplier of frozen food and catering solutions for hospitals, care homes and local authority community schemes. The company also operates Wiltshire Farm Foods, a private home delivery service.
The Challenge
Creative Sharepoint were asked to build a new intranet solution to replace apetito's existing MOSS site. Apetito required a user-friendly central portal for all company messaging, news articles, policies and procedures, and were keen to incorporate workflows to manage the completion of specific business forms.
What We Did
Creative Sharepoint conducted workshops and planning sessions in order to fully understand the client's requirements and help them get the most from their solutions.
The site was based on designs provided by apetito and built around a number of key page layouts. This provided a reliable and intuitive platform designed to grow with the company's future needs.
The Outcome
Apetito now use Sharepoint as one of their core applications, providing important company messaging and document management to all staff across all of their 50+ locations. This has dramatically reduced the need to send out companywide emails.
The Sharepoint intranet gives the users access to a number of critical electric forms that have increased efficiency across the organisation. These provide automated routing workflows, logging, tracking and reporting.
Apetito rely on Creative Sharepoint to provide on going support, training and maintenance to their Sharepoint platform.
